  Medium sized African American church that is making and having a huge impact in the community and the city of Louisville. Pastor F. Bruce Williams is an excellent preacher and teacher.

  My family and I LOVE Bates Memorial Baptist church! Where do I begin? The bookstore, our Sunday School classes, the many activities available for the young people, the transformation of society, the AMAZING preaching....I could go on and on. God IS the focus, and I couldn't be more glad!!

  The best experience I ever had Dr Williams is a wonderful speaker he makes you want to come to church and never miss I get a blessing on Sunday and again on Wednesday don't get me wrong I came from a freat church that I had attended for 44 years and I realized I was only there because my entire family had been at the church there entire life starting with my great grandparents were on our 6th generation I needed to find myself so I could get what I was missing and I thank God for sending me to Bates.
