  • I have been attending for about 3 years now and am very involved. Preaching is done directly from the bible. I absolutely love this church and everyone that is apart of it. I would recommend this church to any and everyone. I have never been apart of a church that is as loving and caring as this one. The people here truly care about each other and will do anything they can to help you. I have found my church home and plan on staying here for a very long time! I want to raise a family up in this church and community. I want to join along side this church and make a difference and give all the glory to God! We exist to proclaim Jesus while loving and serving both God and People.

  • I started going to First Baptist Church Fairdale about 7 months ago. On my first sunday I was greeted by at least 5 different people/families making sure that I felt welcome. Since joining the church my husband and I have been able to get involved in multiple areas of service. Personally, we feel that it is a great place to plug into. They teach the Bible and live it out. In the short time that we have been there we have been able to form strong friendships through serving and attending the college age bible study. I am very thankful for this church and am glad that we visited!

  • I've been attending this church for about two months. I'm 13 years old and I just went to one of their camps. It was two days, those two days just may have changed my life. Yes, I am a christian and I was before I started going their, but the leaders at this church deffinately care about you and your walk with christ. If you have questions they will try to answer them as best they can. You can deffinately feel comfortable with being open at this church. They treat you like you are family and they just want to see you grow and be stronger in your faith.

I went to this church for two years, the people were nice to your face. But here are the things I learned from
    this church.

    1. You can't be part of any type of lord suppers or communions if you are not a member.
    2. You are definitely more then welcome to donate if you aren't a member.
    3. When you ask for a baptism, one of their teachers will walk you into a different room after service, it will be
just you and the teacher. They ask you what certain verses in the bible mean to you and if you don't
say what they want to hear they tell you that your interpretation of the bible is wrong.
    4. The leaders of this church can and will deny you baptism if you don't follow what they want you to follow.
    5. Only members that actually donate money to this church are actually baptized. If you can't afford to donate here,
    find another church.
    6. After your baptism is denied the leaders of this church will claim they have no right to deny you a baptism,
they will just never give you one.
    7. Some of the things they tell you are apart of the bible aren't actually part of the bible. They basically
make a lot of assumptions and add words to the bible that aren't there.
    8. I don't like to question what religion churches are but this one does have me a little confounded on what
religion it is. It may say baptist on the sign, but when people tell you your interpretation of the bible is
wrong and that they tell you what it really means.
    9. Some of the people can be quite rude at times and they will listen to you whenever you need someone to talk to,
but everything you say and expect to be in confidence will be told to all other leaders of the church.
    10. They claim that the American version of the bible is the most accurate bible in existence.
    11. They have the belief that you have to believe them no matter what, when they lie about the bible then
you ask where it's listed in the bible, they will either say a verse that doesn't match what they claim
or they will never give a verse.

I am a christian, my duty as a christian is to stop fellow Christians from falling into a trap.
Don't fall into this trap, I've been here before and I know what it's like. They will lie and deceive
in order to make you believe them, I know because they tried the same tricks on me. So as a fellow believer in our
lord Jesus Christ, find a different church. I'm sorry to those that I did not warn sooner, as a christian I made
a mistake in not warning my fellow Christians that wanted a decent and honest following in our lord Jesus Christ.
I promise I will not make the same mistake twice.

  • I didn't have a church family, I really didn't know what that really meant until I came to this church. I feel comfortable talking to anyone in the church. listening to the preachings really opened my eyes to what it really meant to be a christian. I love the family I have gained and the love I didn't have until I met Jesus.
