  Terrible service. Honestly I could not imagine a less compassionate staff. We had my grandmother cremated there and they said they would call when we could collect the ashes. They didn't call. We had to do that and when we called they said they had finished, when the next we went the certificate said they had done it that morning. They also managed to not give us the box we paid for and we had to call them out on it. At which time the person got confrontational and blamed someone else. Do not go here if you expect dignity in the proceedings.

  No one wants to visit ANY funeral home, but Highlands makes it bearable. Comforting staff offer great support.

  well where do u start.chose for the location.we were prepared,but not really prepared.we had life insurance.we were four of us in the meeting room.the funeral director offered their condolences.then the BIG QUESTION WAS FROM THE FUNERAL DIRECTOR.WE NEED SEVERAL THOUSAND dollars up front.this really happen to us.i am really seriously telling the truth. heard that i was and the other three were about to leave.but regrouped.it is for our relative.everything was to rush,rush rush.business,business,MONEY.WHERE IS THE CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER AT HERE. TO ME THIS WAS UNCALLED FOR.UNPROFESSIONAL.THIS IS A FUNERAL HOME NOT A CAR LOT--WHERE DECISIONS ARE MADE.PEOPLE ARE FULL OF GRIEF,.SO WE STAYED HAD THE SERVICE AND MOVED-ON.INSURANCE LADY --SHOWED US THE BEST RESPECT AND INTERACTION THERE.SHE WORKS THERE.MY RELATIVE ENTERED THE OFFICE AREA SOME OF THESE PEOPLE WERE SNICKERING AND LAUGHING SHE SAID.SOME EMPLOYEES WERE.WHATS FUNNY ABOUT THIS. ANYHOW THE FUNERAL WAS FOR OUR LOVE-ONE.

  Highlands Funeral Home handled my mother's funeral and hosted our visitation hours. The overall experience was very positive and I really found no reason not to give them a five star rating.
